BASE:Taichung Taichung port

Taichung port, formerly known as Wuqi port, is located in Qingshui Town, Taichung County. With its back to Dadu Mountain and its coast to the Taiwan Strait, dajiaxi and dabuxi respectively go to sea from north to south, protruding from the west coast of the Taiwan Strait in topography. The port construction was completed in 1982, which is one of the ten major construction projects. It is one of the four major international ports in the province together with Kaohsiung port, Hualien port and Keelung port.
