Located on the west coast of the Gulf of Gore in the west coast of Senegal, it is the largest port in Senegal and also the largest seaport in West Africa. Port Free Trade Zone was founded in 1975, covering an area of 6.5 million square meters. The annual cargo throughput is about 8 million tons.
