Lome port is an excellent port along the coast of West Africa. The water area of the port area is 80 hectares. The 720 meter sand dike separates the Atlantic Ocean from the water area of the port area. The handling capacity of LOM é port is 6 million tons. There are two wharves and seven berths in the port. At the same time, it can hold four 2.5-ton cargo ships and 100000 ton oil tankers.
